In Motion, and Emotion

It always amazes me how just at the right moment a book, a song, a person or an experience will come my way. Hard to ignore the fact that when you focus on a particular idea or subject long enough; you stumble upon an inspired thought, meet someone who shares your ideals, or you land smack in the middle of that energy. Some might say; hey you were looking for it and you found it. But how many times do you hear people are looking for something they cannot find? More importantly how do you know what you are looking for is what you want to find? This life is definately more then just a read through (RHCP). But often times we are so caught up in the idea of the end result, the early retirement, the new BMW, the large bank account, the future rather then the present. I'm in motion and in emotion about these thoughts. To me it seems that the real idea is to constantly design your life in line with your standards, your ideal life. It is not so far off to say never settle for less, because in many ways that is true, but only if you know how to shift your perspective.

To make an immediate change try the following;

Look around you; begin to recognize the things you appreciate about what you do for a living and where you are;

Maybe its the BBQ's they put on for you once a week, the gift certificates they hand out, the opportunities they provide, the amazing people you work with, the fact that they want you for that position, whatever it may be start taking stock in the things you appreciate. If you really want to see results, don't assume it does or doesnt work, just be objective and do this for 21 days, see how you feel~

This doesn't mean it is your dream job, or your final experience, the be all end all. Because that is all yesterday's news.

It's about the future, what will you be, how will you get there, where do you want to be?

Put in motion the emotion of appreciation

Let me know how it goes'; i'd love to hear all about it...
